Your licence
When you pay for a song, MelodyOfYou grants you and the person it is for a personal, non-exclusive, worldwide licence without time limit to play, copy for personal use, and share the song, its lyrics and any artwork we made for it, for non-commercial purposes. That includes posting it on your own social media accounts.
What the licence does not cover
- Selling the song or charging for access to it.
- Using it in advertising, for a business, or in content you are paid to make.
- Uploading it to streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music and others) or claiming it in content-ID systems.
- Using it to mislead anyone, for example presenting it as sung by a real artist.
AI-made music and copyright
Your song is made with AI from your answers. In many countries, including the USA, music made by AI may not be protected by copyright, and a melody or style can resemble other songs. We don’t promise that nobody else will ever have a similar-sounding song; the lyrics are written for you from your answers.
