The Designer

I'm Skylar, or, if you prefer, Sky. I'm a junior in high school. Music is my obsession. I enjoy singing and take voice lessons, as well as perform in the pit (mallets, xylo, marimba) in the marching band, and play triples in the steel drum band. I'm outgoing, and easy to get along with and you usually won't find me without a smile on my face.

Glow
This is a pretty neat and easy tutorial. It will give your images a nice glow-y effect.
Here's an example:

1) Open PS and paste your image.
2) Go to
Layer>> Duplicate Layer.
3) Go to
Filter>>Blur>>Gaussian Blur.
4) Set the radius to 5.0 and click OK.
5) Go to your layer window and in the drop down menu select either soft light, hard light, or vivid light. Whichever you prefer. I think that hard light and vivid light are more interested than soft light. In the picture above I used hard light.
6) Click OK and go to
Layer>> Flatten Image and save your image!
That's it! Hope this tutorial helped!
