The Designer

I'm Skylar, or, if you prefer, Sky. I'm a junior in high school. Music is my obsession. I enjoy singing and take voice lessons, as well as perform in the pit (mallets, xylo, marimba) in the marching band, and play triples in the steel drum band. I'm outgoing, and easy to get along with and you usually won't find me without a smile on my face.

Motion Blur
I'd say there are other tutorials that say how to do this somewhere but I've never seen one and I kind of figured this out on my own and thought it looked pretty cool so here's the tutorial for it. It'll give your image a sort of motion blur effect.
Here's an example:

1) Open PS and paste your image.
2) Go to
Layer>> Duplicate Layer.
3) Go to
Filter>>Blur>>Motion Blur.
4) Set the angle to 0, the distance to 100, and click OK.
5) Go to your layer window and in the drop down menu select Linear Light.
6) Go to
Layer>> Flatten Image and save your image!
That's it! Hope this tutorial helped!
