Darken Images

This is one of my favorite effects when I don't really want a faded-looking image. Sure, they're pretty sometimes, but they get old.

Here's an example:
 

1) Open PS and paste your image.
2) Go to Layer>> Duplicate Layer.
3) Go to Filter>> Artistic>> Film Grain. 4) Set Grain to 4, Highlight Area to 0, Intensity to 10 and click OK.
5) Go to your layer window and in the drop down menu select Color Burn.
6) Go to Layer>> Flatten Image and save your image!
